My name is Tanya and I am a first time mom to bebe Xavier (13 months). I am extremely passionate about sport and athletics and being physically active has always been a large part of my life. In the past, I competed in long distance outrigger canoe races and am still an avid gym goer, hiker, runner and cyclist. I moved to Southern California from Canada when I was pregnant with Xavier and started Stroller Strides when he was 6 months old. I was hooked from the first class. When I joined, my main goal was to meet other mommas in the area and I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that Stroller Strides was not only a tight-knit community of mommas, but also a fun and challenging workout! I love teaching Xavier about leading a healthy lifestyle while also getting my sweat on! When I had the opportunity to become an instructor, I jumped at it. I believe wholeheartedly in the fit4mom and fit4baby philosophy as I’ve seen the positive results time and time again. Whether you’ve always been active or you’re just getting back into the swing of things, Stroller Strides works for all fitness levels.
